Our vacations in Chile

Valparaiso is located at the Pacific coast, a two hour car trip from Santiago. It is the oldest seaport in Chile, and was the most important stopover for ships sailing between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans in the 19th century. Today, Valparaiso is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its unique and picturesque location on the steep hills of the Valparaiso Bay, and due to its rich cultural and architectural history.

The trip to Valparaiso took us over several mountain
ranges and through valleys with many wineries.
Here we pass a winery in the Casablanca valley.
