Our vacations in Iceland

Blue Lagoon

No visit to Iceland is complete without visiting the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa for at least half a day. In the midst of a huge lave field the springs have created a lagoon of hot turqoise steamy water filled with healthy minerals. Some call it one of the 25 wonders of the world and an oasis of relaxation. We immensely enjoyed the relaxing effects of the hot springs, and a cold drink from the lagoon side bar helped us recover and forget the long walks and hikes in Iceland's interior.
